TroubleshootingCreate an assessment
In a subject, tap “+” at the top right, or the “New Grade” tile on the class page. First enter name, category and date, for example “Vocabulary Test”, then the grades for all students follow.
Student by student
Tap a grade, and the next student is up automatically. Missing grades are marked. “Did Not Take Part” doesn’t count toward the average.
Sub-grades
An assessment can consist of several sub-grades, such as a test with several tasks or a project with content and presentation, each with its own share in percent. The grade is the average of the sub-grades by their shares and counts as one grade in its category.
Single grades
Single grades apply to one student only, for example for a presentation. They are entered on the student’s page.
Choose the term
Grades belong to a term, for example a semester. The term shown is in the gray line below the subject and is switched under Subject › … › Term. … › Edit Terms … changes the terms themselves.
All assessments at a glance
“All Assessments” in the “…” menu shows a subject’s assessments by term and category, with class average, count and grade distribution. Changes to an assessment apply to all students.
From a lesson
In a lesson plan, “Enter Grades” leads straight to the class’s subject. Open assessments are at the top.
