TroubleshootingOpen a lesson
In the planner, tap a lesson to open its plan. An empty slot first opens “New Lesson” with subject and class, then the plan.
Layout
At the top is a card with subject, class, day and time. Below it are topic and room, then lesson plan, materials and notes. The text fields grow as you type. Changes are saved after a short pause in typing and immediately when you leave the page or the app.
Room
In the “Room” field you can enter where the lesson takes place, for example “112” or “Gym”. The room also appears on “Today” in the card for the next lesson.
Lists
If a line starts with “- ” or “1. ”, Return continues the list, just like in Notes. A second Return ends it.
Subject and class for this lesson only
Tapping the card with subject and class changes both for this one lesson only. In the week, you can also touch and hold the lesson.
Enter grades from a lesson
In the lesson plan, “Enter Grades” takes you straight to the right class. More under Entering Grades.
How far ahead you can plan
The free version lets you plan lessons for this week and next week; past weeks stay open as well. With the Full Version, planning has no limit, for example for the whole school year.
No student names in notes
Lesson, week and meeting notes sync through iCloud. That’s why student names belong only in the class lists, which never leave the device. A note below the notes field reminds you.
