TroubleshootingThe planner comes by itself
Timetable, lessons, events, notes and to-dos reach the new device through your private iCloud when it’s signed in with the same Apple Account.
Transfer class lists
On the old device, choose Settings › Class Lists › Transfer to Another Device …. An assistant makes an encrypted copy and shows a one-time code.
- Send the file to the new device with AirDrop.
- Tap “Open in Kreidezeit” there.
- Enter the code from the old device.
Don’t send the code along with the file; just read it off the other device.
Without AirDrop
Save the file in the Files app and open it on the new device under Settings › Class Lists › Receive from Another Device….
A copy, not a sync
The transfer replaces all class lists on the other device; Kreidezeit first makes a safety copy there. Later changes don’t reach the other device automatically. So it’s best to keep your class lists on one main device.
