TroubleshootingThe tab bar on iPhone
“Today” and “More” are always at the bottom, with three areas of your choice in between: Planner, Timetable, Classes, To-Dos or Meetings. Choose them under Settings › Appearance › Customize Tab Bar. To reorder, touch and hold a row and drag it. All other areas are under “More”.
Each area remembers where you were last. On iPhone, Kreidezeit runs in portrait.
The sidebar on iPad
On iPad, a sidebar shows all areas. Settings are at the bottom of the sidebar. In full width, the three chosen areas also appear in the bar at the top.
Paging and going back
Page through days, weeks and months by swiping sideways or with the arrows at the top. Move between year, month, week and lesson with “Back” or by swiping from the left edge. Tapping “Planner” twice jumps to today.
Keyboard shortcuts
With a keyboard on iPad, these shortcuts are available. Hold the Command key to see the list in the app.
- ⌘1 to ⌘6: switch areas
- ⌘N: new, for example a to-do or a class
- ⌘T: today in the planner
- ⌘F: search students
- ⌘← and ⌘→: page
- ⌘,: Settings
Settings per device
Tab bar, appearance and lock time apply only to the device they are set on. So iPhone and iPad can be set up differently.
